KAISHOT- Body Worn DVR designed for UK Police
A new version of the H.264 Kaishot Body Worn DVR has been developed to meet the specific requirements of the UK Police.
The unit has all the same features as the standard Kaishot but includes a remote unit with the following functions:
- Large single press record button
- LED to indicate when the unit is recording to user and the public
- Buzzer to inidcate when recording has started
- Hold switch to prevent recorder being accidentaly turned off
- Built in Mocrophone
- Seperate connections for Camera, external Mic and GPS Antenna
The Kaishot Body Worn DVR uses H.264 video compression technology to record up to 8 hours of 720 x 570 @25 fps full resolution video to internal flash based memory. Designed to worn by Police, Military, Government or Private company employees The Kaishot is waterproof to IP65 and drop tested for ruggedised applications. Wireless and GPS options are available for transmission of video over a wireless "Mesh" network and GPS tracking. Metadata like GPS location , time, date are stored on the video file for use as evidence. The large LCD ruggedised display allows the wearer of the Body Worn DVR to check the external camera alignment and to replay video stored in the internal SD card. A whole range of accesories including hand held or body worn lapel, shoulder or helmet cameras are available.
